Why Are Things the Way They Are?

As a teenager, I moved to California to attend college. A few blocks away from the U.C. Berkeley campus was an intuitive or “psychic” institute. There, I received a clairvoyant reading that was so surprisingly accurate that I took a four-week Practical Intuition Class and eventually decided to attend an intensive clairvoyant training program.

The program changed my life. I became much more sure of myself and realized that I could do almost anything. A couple of the miraculous events still stand out in my mind, even though they happened several years ago.

During the clairvoyant program, I accepted an accounting job in San Francisco and commuted by bus from the East Bay over the famous Oakland Bay Bridge. One day after work, the owner of the company held an impromptu party at a local restaurant. I had to leave the party early to catch the last bus home at 7:00 pm. I arrived at the San Francisco bus terminal at 6:55 pm, and stood in line with three other patrons. A man at the next bus stop told us that the bus had come and left early at 6:53 pm, and that we had better find another way to get home.

Undaunted, I created an energy mock-up taught to me at the clairvoyant center. This consisted of making a three-dimensional representation of what you want to have happen—in this case for the bus to come back and take me home. I released all of the energy surrounding this thought form which said that the bus’ return was impossible. I energized the mock-up with neutral gold energy and asked God or the Supreme Being to bless it. The energy thought drifted out of my aura to go be manifested.

Suddenly, several minutes later, the bus appeared. The door opened and the three of us got on a vehicle full of angry people. The driver admitted, ”I got to Treasure Island (the half-way point of the Bay Bridge) and I got the urge to turn around and come get you. I realized that I’d left the station early. Despite all these angry passengers who wanted to get home, I turned the bus around on the island and came back for you, which I’ve never done before!”

The three of us said, “Thank you!” The puzzled driver shook his head, “I’ve never turned around like that before for passengers.” I smiled, knowing that my energetic mock-up had reached this bus driver to create a true miracle in my universe.

Another incident happened a few months later, I changed jobs and started working in the East Bay at the federal courthouse as a deputy. Again, I commuted to work by bus. One sunny afternoon, I was walking to the bus stop and I realized that I didn’t have exact change for the fare. In fact, the only money I had in my wallet was a $20 bill. I started looking for a shop where I could get some coins or smaller bills but they all had signs in the window proclaiming: No change given without purchase.

I thought, I don’t want any food or soda. All I really want is a glass of water. (This was many years before the age of selling bottles of water. Back then, the only liquids for sale were sodas and milk.) I went into a store and decided to get a can of soda. I paid for it and received my change for the bus. As I held the soda in my hand, I thought, ”I wish this were water.”

I popped the can so I could drink it quickly before the bus arrived. Oddly, it tasted like water not soda. I poured some liquid out into my hand, and it was as clear as water. At that moment, I realized that it really was actual water. One could say that this was either an unbelievable coincidence or that my energy helped change the soda can into water.

Soon there were so many strange miracles that I could no longer dismiss them as coincidences. I continued my training and today help others realize the incredible abilities that we all possess in developing our God-given abilities. It is only a question of learning the tools, asking the right questions, and practicing what you have learned.

Leaving Room for Spirit

Although his writings are somewhat heavy handed, Oswald Chambers gave us a day-by-day study in the book My Utmost for his Highest.  Here is a loose transcription of his concept in the book, “Leave Room for the Higher Spirit.”

As servants to the Higher Spirit, we must make room for it – to give the Spirit “elbow room.”  We plan, figure, and predict this or that will happen, yet we forget to make room for the Spirit to come in – and not just in a certain way.  No matter how well we may know Spirit, the greater lesson is to learn that Spirit may break in at any moment.  We tend to overlook this element of surprise, even though the Higher Spirit never works in any other way!

Keep your life constantly so in touch with the Higher Spirit/God, that its living power can break through at any time.  Live in a constant state of expectancy, but leave room.

Sometimes we make room for the divine by stopping what we’re doing, and going within.  Meditation is a way of making room for more of ourselves as a souls to express ourselves.

Sometimes the way we make room requires the physical location of time and space – going to church service (Healing Circle), taking a class, or planning to meditate each week.

Taking a Practical Intuition and Meditation Class at Intuitive Insights or the Clairvoyant Training Program is one way to explore Opening the Door and Leaving Room for Higher Spirit.  Joe Gacoscos will teach the Clairvoyant I Program starting Wednesday, October 7th, 2015.

Is Your Challenge an Opportunity in Disguise?

One of the ways we often see challenges is as hardships. We alternatively complain and withdraw. We can ruminate ourselves to exhaustion — when really, the opportunity is to gain wisdom. We can do this through spirituality and meditation.

Once when starting a new job, I took the time to use some psychic tools learned in the clairvoyant program, to see a positive outcome in three-dimensions, or create a mockup. As I sat meditating, I was able to direct my energy toward the outcome I wanted — and I did achieve success.

Tools in meditation can soothe and enlighten us and help us to look at situations in a new light. We also reconnect to a higher source. If we look at some of the newer philosophers, we can see that often an epiphany can occur. We see this in the works of Carl Jung, Gandhi, and most recently, Rhonda Byrne (the creator of The Secret). “The fastest way to become the master of your thoughts and emotions is through challenging situations. If your life is going along fairly smoothly, there are not the same opportunities that enable you to strengthen your power and become the master of your thoughts and emotions.”

When we look at spirituality, we think of the different ways people meditate. Some may pray, some may repeat a mantra, some may direct energy through the body, while others visualize a positive outcome and create a favorable result.

We all have a reason for being here. We all have dreams we would like to pursue. Using our psychic tools and meditation, we can truly become our best self.

Another way to help see the opportunities for spiritual growth masked as challenges is by taking a Practical Intuition and Meditation Class at Intuitive Insights or the Clairvoyant Training Program. Joe Gacoscos will teach the Clairvoyant I Program starting Wednesday, April 8th.

Do You Feel Out-of-Control?

Sometimes we think we have our lives mapped out, and then something happens to redirect our life in another direction. We feel out of control—facing the unknown. We may find ourselves in a place where we cannot control the outcome. It may seem like it lasts a long time, but in the length of our entire lives, being out-of- control is most often, temporary.

I was reminded of the concept of embracing the unknown when I learned about a Japanese martial art called Aikido. Practitioners join the motion of the attacker by shifting the force and the direction of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This requires little physical strength, but instead, the Aikido apprentice leads the attacker’s momentum by redirecting the energy and force. In other words, it’s a form of “going with the flow.” If the attacker is coming at you, you take the force of the blow and redirect it elsewhere in a safe direction so it misses you.
Because we are emotionally involved with our own lives, it is difficult to be neutral and know or predict our own future for ourselves. However, if you find a neutral reader, he or she can give you insight.

Remember, the way out of a negative feeling is to make a positive decision followed by action (or deciding not to take action).

The best advice I can give you is to not resist the unknown, but instead to embrace the unknown and “couple” it with positive thoughts and energy. Be open to what happens next. Things happen that shape your path in life in ways that you might never have imagined.

Having something unpredictable happen in your life can be a message to let go of old reaction patterns and try something different. We often react the same way we’ve always reacted and are creatures of habit. But if we are positive and try something new, it breaks our old patterns and starts us on our new life.

Spiritualist Deepak Chopra says, “”Don’t try to steer the river.” Realize that the universe responds to positive thoughts and images. So, if you are a positive person, positive things are going to happen.

Have faith in yourself. Know that you will attract the answers that will help you in your next step. Build integrity and self-confidence with yourself by doing what you say you will do.

Through the class Practical Intuition and the Clairvoyant Training Program, you will start to ind your purpose. You learn to meditate by directing energy, and you start to find your own bliss. When you find your bliss, you find the place inside yourself where nothing is impossible.

The best way to prepare for the future is to be “in present time” and aware. Being present and aware is where you command your strength and personal power.

“How does one do that?” you might ask. By learning to meditate in the Practical Intuition Class or the Clairvoyant Program. Rene Feuerbach will teach the in-person Clairvoyant I Program starting Wed., Oct. 8th.

What Makes You Significant?

If you think about 100 years from now, none of us will be here in these bodies, and life will go on without us.  The sun will rise and the rain will come without us.  This fact might make you feel insignificant, along with the fact that our solar system is only .01% of the universe, so why do we matter?  Actually, we do matter.  While we are spirits here occupying bodies, we have a consciousness and soul, and we are the consciousness that is manifesting the universe with our thoughts.

The true soul part of yourself is the part of you that is spirit.  (I am using the words “soul”, “immortal”, and “spirit” interchangeably.)  It’s the immortal part of you that never dies.  When you look in the mirror and focus on your eyes, look to see that inner flame – that spiritual part of your nature looking back at you.  That immortal spiritual part of you is inhabiting the body, which is a tool for the spirit.  The real soul part of you is not “beneath” or “below” anyone.  It is fearless, so walk confidently and stand tall.

We all make up a piece of a larger consciousness.  We are all spirits and of the same source.  Yet everyone has a unique energy and a unique gift.  It is better to focus on your gifts and not on your weakness.  Other people in the world will compliment your limitations.

One of our purposes for being here is to develop our strengths and give them to the world.  When we do that, we become a “timeless” being.  We lose track of time.  Sometimes people tell us that they are “running out of time.”  I tell them to think about the concept that we have enough time, rather than we are running out of time.

To be in “present time”, focus on who and what is in front of you.  Being present and aware is where your strengths and power are.  The best way to prepare for the future is to be in the present and aware.  How does one do that, you might ask?  By learning to meditate in the Practical Intuition Class or the Clairvoyant Program is one way.

Think of your body as an energy field.  One way we increase our awareness is by meditating.  We also increase our mental capacity by learning new things and concepts which help us to be more aware that we are spiritual beings – manifesting with our thoughts to have significance in the world.

Learn to meditate in the Practical Intuition Class or Clairvoyant Program and then monitor your energy.  Kathryn Schiff will be teaching the in-person Clairvoyant I Program starting Wed., April 9th.  (Cenda Rinehart will be teaching the six-month telephone program starting on July 10th.)

The Time Is Now

As anybody develops their clairvoyance, they develop themselves spiritually.  They change their perspective on the world, and that, in turn starts to change the world around them.  It is similar to a pebble being dropped into a pond.  The pebble causes ripples which expand through the pond reaching much further than where the pebble touched the water.

So when are you going to develop your spirituality?  Most people, at some time in their lives, turn to spirituality.  Some wait to be on their deathbed to do it.  Some experience spiritual growth and awakening after a tragedy in their life, some witness someone close to them having trauma and turn inward to process, and some have a mid-life crisis to do soul searching.

What seems to matter in day to day experiences, really doesn’t matter in the big picture.  At the end of life, most people do not wish that they had spent more time at their job, more time housecleaning, or more time focusing on the physical aspects of their life.  Life, as we know it, is an illusion.  What matters is a one to one communication between the divinity and the living soul.

What does exist is your time now.  The concept of the future is an illusion.  And right now you have options on how to use your time.  You can choose to make time to focus on your spirituality and your next steps on your path.

Kathryn Schiff will be teaching the in-person Clairvoyant I Program starting Wed., October 2nd, 2013.  (Bill McKenna will be teaching the telephone version.)

I look forward to seeing you start and discover that the time is now to develop your spiritual abilities.

How to Use Your Psychic Abilities

Before writing this article “How to Use Your Psychic Abilities,” I must first qualify the word “psychic.”  By psychic, I mean:  intuitive or clairvoyant or psychic reader.  I use these words interchangeably.  Some people are stuck on the idea that a psychic for example might be a gypsy with a turban, on a street corner—adorned with an over-abundance of make-up and dangling bracelets and scarves draped over her head and body.  I challenge that image.

To me, as a clairvoyant teacher, the definition of a psychic might be a school teacher, a computer programmer or the person sitting next to you in a cubical who can go into trance, practice the tools learned in the Clairvoyant Program and read you and “knock your socks off.”

So, how do you become a psychic?  There are a few steps.  First you need to learn tools:—spiritual tools to protect yourself from picking up other people’s energies, and also tools to release your own stuck thoughts so you can be a good reader who makes sure you are reading your seeker’s energy and not your own pre-conceived thoughts.  Then you learn to meditate in the Practical Intuition & Meditation Class which is being taught by Kathryn Schiff starting in May, July, or September (also taught by phone with Dawn.)

You learn to “go within.”  Then you connect with your divine self using spiritual tools that you are taught in the program.

Next, you need opportunities to practice.  “Can’t you just learn this while reading a book?”  Well, no, you cannot get the depth of the lesson just reading it in a book.  It would be the same as if you read a book on baseball, and did not have the experience.  It takes practical application which is provided in the 6-month Clairvoyant Program where people practice reading others.  As in most new tasks—practice, practice, practice makes perfect.

While “running energy” (a tool taught in the classes) and practicing other “psychic tools,” one gains the opportunity to recover from past experiences and at the same time deliver a dynamite reading.  Both the reader and the seeker benefit from the session.

Sometimes the question is asked, “This must be exhausting for you to read someone?”  Au contraire!  It’s actually energizing—especially if the seeker has similar past experiences.

Aren’t other people going to think I’m crazy for reading an aura or giving a spiritual healing, or talking to dead people?  Why yes, initially, they will think you’ve lost your marbles.  But eventually most people ask for a reading or share their own intuitive experience.  Besides, other people’s opinions about you are highly overrated!  Steve P. will be teaching the next weekly Clairvoyant I Program starting Wed., April 3, 2013.   I look forward to seeing you start and discover  that you, too, can develop your psychic abilities! Can Anyone Become Psychic?

One of the big myths in our culture is that you have to be born intuitive rather than developing your intuition later in life.  The “myth buster” is that, if you think of James Van Praagh, famous psychic, he was over 30 before he fully developed his abilities.  He eventually learned some of the same Clairvoyant Tools that are taught at Intuitive Insights.  (I use the words “psychic”, “intuitive”, and “clairvoyant” interchangeably because they have the same meaning in this context.)  Many people have had intuitive experiences probably during childhood, and most successful adults have done something intuitively to attain their goals.

As for me, as a child I discovered my intuition with my animals — my cat, my dog, a friend’s horse, and even some chickens.  I’ve even had a psychic experience with a lizard!  I often could “see” a thought or two sent from them.

This led me to get a reading later in life while I was attending college.  During the reading, the readers told me that I had psychic abilities.  I did not believe I had any special gift — with the exception of my experiences with my pets.  The readers suggested I try a 4-week Practical Intuition Class.  (It was affordable enough even for a college student.)

If I told you that you had psychic abilities, you might not believe me either.  Sometimes people need the experience of taking a class to learn “intuitive tools” for unblocking innate abilities.

Everyone learns to do all of the curriculum during the six-month Clairvoyant Program.  However, in learning the tools such as remote viewing, healing, reading relationships, talking to dead people, or long distance reading, a student might shine more at a particular topic.

The Clairvoyant Program can be considered a type of spiritual therapy, in which you process your own issues while you read someone else.  As we read, we become more aware of human life experience — happy or sad.  It usually leads to a broader sense of spirituality.  We are sometimes like “mirrors” of each other in our behavior — or like seeing ourselves in the other person’s shoes.

While running energy taught in the classes and practicing other “psychic tools”, one gains the opportunity to recover from past experiences and at the same time, delivering a dynamite reading.  Both the reader and the seeker benefit from the session.

Alice will be teaching the next weekly Clairvoyant I Program starting We., October 3 – March 20, 2013.  I look forward to seeing you start and see that you, too, can develop your psychic abilities!

Did You See That Miracle?

When I was 5 years old I was riding in the car with my mother. I stood on the front seat, as we did back then instead of being strapped into a child carseat. Another car ran a stop sign and hit us. Just then, a man (“our angel” as we saw him) who was driving by stopped and rushed us to the hospital. I turned out fine—just a few butterfly stitches. But while the doctor was cleaning me up, he said something I would never forget: “You are a miracle. You must have some very important work to do in this world.” What is a miracle? Miracles are all around us—some from history: Jesus and all the mira-cles he did, healing the blind and crippled, Mo-ses talking to God on Mt. Sinai, or Buddha sit-ting under the Bodhi tree meditating and experi-encing his awakening and enlightenment. Many present day smaller miracles, such as: Finding a parking place easily when going to a crowded mall or a butterfly landing on your shoulder as if to say “hello”.

Or the big miracles—a profound healing or realization. A dear friend (like a sister to me) got lymphoma so we did healings on her every day (she was staying with me at the time). She also came to the Healing Clinics and TM Clinics and in three months the cancer was completely gone. She has been cancer-free for nine years.

A few years ago my roommate’s cat, Leon, had a fatal lip cancer. The doctors didn’t have much hope for him. We started doing healings on him morning and night, and in three weeks the cancer was gone. The vet said, “This is a miracle!”

We all have important work to do. It is our job to discover our gifts and create the life we were born to live. Each breath we take and step we make on Earth at this amazing moment in time is a miracle that we are creating. Per-haps as a soul we decided to play a part before we were born. What is your work?

In the Clairvoyant Program, you learn to know yourself better and discover what your spiritual work is here on the planet—even if your physical job is not a spiritual job.

We all play a part in bringing spiritual energy to our interactions with others. If we believe we all come into this life with gifts to manifest, then all things are possible.

Just how do we want to use our gifts, abilities, and talents? It is time to discover and expand them to fulfill our purpose and divine plan. The powerful spiritual tools that are taught at Intuitive Insights in the Clairvoyant I & II Pro-grams help you learn to find your path, create personal miracles, and also to see the miracles that are happening that you might otherwise miss. These clairvoyant tools help you find your answers, get unstuck, live the life you are meant to live, and share your gifts with the world. I will be teaching the next weekly Clairvoyant I Program starting Wed., April 4 to Sept. 19, 2012. I look forward to seeing you start and realize the miracle that is YOU!
